Course Description

This course rapidly teaches geometrical concepts through custom-designed problems that are understandable to students who have not yet taken a proof-based high school geometry course. It covers geometry which appears in MATHCOUNTS, AMC 8, and AMC 10.

  • No class on Sat & Sun (except for Sat Jul 9)


The best way to get used to thinking mathematically is to play with math every day. This course runs over 4 weeks, meeting for 75 minutes on each of 5 weekdays per week. Students learn new concepts from Tuesday through Friday. Over each weekend, they work on a challenging homework set, which is discussed in class on the following Monday.
