Course Description

This course is an efficient whirlwind tour through all areas of beyond-curricular math (aligned with MATHCOUNTS and AMC 8). It is designed to inspire students to love challenging math.

Over the course of one month, students become proficient in creative problem solving, preparing them for all kinds of future classes and competitions.

  • 4 weeks, from Tue Jun 14, 2022 to Mon Jul 11, 2022
  • Mon–Fri, 9–10pm ET
  • No class on Sat & Sun (except for Sat Jul 9)


The best way to get used to thinking mathematically is to play with math every day. This course runs over 4 weeks, meeting for an hour on each of 5 weekdays per week. Students learn new concepts from Tuesday through Friday. Over each weekend, they work on a challenging homework set, which is discussed in class on the following Monday.
