The Prep Session for CEMC Pascal Contest is a livestream session provided by Prof. Loh to help students get ready for one of the most recognized Canadian competitions for 9th graders and below from all over the world.

We hope that through Prof. Loh's inspiring and creative way of teaching, you will look beyond just competitions and discover an amazing and magical world of mathematics!

9:00 – 9:30 pm: free range Q&A for you to ask any questions (even non-math related ones)

 



Contest Information

Hosted by the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC) from University of Waterloo,  the Pascal, Cayley, and Fermat Contests are an opportunity for students to have fun and to develop their mathematical problem-solving ability.

Students in Grade 9 or below are eligible to take part in the Pascal Contest.

Contest Format

  • 25 multiple-choice questions
  • 60 minutes
  • 150 total marks
  • some calculators permitted
