AMC 8 Prep Session

2020/09/19 Saturday 7:00 - 8:30 PM EST

The AMC 8 is a 25 multiple-choice question, 40-minute math competition for all students in grade 8 or below. It is taken by nearly 100,000 students worldwide each year and is widely regarded as a challenging national (and international) benchmark for mathematical excellence.

Generally, the difficulty level of the problems goes up as the problem number does. In this prep session, Prof. Loh will show students how to solve problem numbered by multiples of 6 in this AMC 8 Mock Test, which were also original problems carefully written by him. There will be Q&A afterwards for you to ask (literally!) any questions.

We hope that through Prof. Loh's inspiring and creative way of teaching, you will look beyond just competitions and discover an amazing and magical world of mathematics!

Last but not the least, a math question for you to think about before the course starts: how many problems is Prof. Loh going over in this prep session?
